WOW GOLD developer Blizzard Entertainment has stated.
Blizzard has announced that they will not be attending this year's E3 event, despite the previous statements from parent company Activision that confirmed Activision's involvement in the show.WOW GOLD developer Blizzard Entertainment has stated that it will not be attending the newly expanded E3 2009 event, just days after merger partner Activision confirmed their involvement.Although Blizzard owner Vivendi Games became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Activision in July of last year, Blizzard has continued to operate largely autonomously. Even so, it was assumed that Activision's confirmed E3 attendance also included Blizzard, who regularly attended the event during its heyday.Blizzard confirmed its plans to pass on E3 with a single sentence statement to consumer website Giant Bomb: "Blizzard Entertainment will not be attending or participating in E3 2009".It had to happen eventually; a US guild has finally killed Lich King 25 on Heroic! Premonition (US-Senjin), who were previously the first guild worldwide to get to get the Tribute to Insanity achievement in ToGC 25, get the dubious honor of coming in 9th behind 5 European guilds, 2 Korean guilds, and Stars from Taiwan. So, at long last, we have slain the dragon. First off, big grats to Paragon for getting it done years ahead of everyone else. We should have had a kill a few weeks ago, with a few situations like the following screenshot depicts: sub 20% wipe on our first or second attempt of the week/night, and then nothing but wipes getting worse thereafter! To further complicate things, it's no secret we lost a lot of long term members in the Icecrown progression cycle, which massively hamstrung us.
